Step 1:

Do we like each other?

Choosing a financial advisor is similar to an intimate and long-term relationship. We prioritize chemistry over everything, and we want our clients to feel comfortable being open, honest, and vulnerable. Liking one another is the first step.

Step 2:

Learn your story and the numbers.

We want to know your past, present, and your future. What motivates you, what you’re currently (or not) saving for, and what your dream state is. People always say “knowledge is power” and this is particularly true when developing your financial plan.

Step 3:

Define your wealth statement.

Gather your assets, liabilities, income, savings, and any investment accounts - let’s just call it all the streams of wealth. We put all of those together and create your wealth statement which helps us build your financial plan.

Step 4:

Present your plan.

First and foremost, we want to take this time to educate you on the why. We want to ensure you completely understand our strategic direction and are comfortable with it while we will walk you through our recommendations of how, when, and why.

Step 5:

Implementation.

Once everyone is in agreement and you are comfortable with everything, we set things in motion. We put your money to work immediately, send over the paperwork, and get you scheduled for any additional appointments.

Step 6:

Maintain and review.

Communication is key. You can expect us to check in with you on a quarterly basis for an informal chat to see how things are going and answer any questions. But each year plan on a full review of everything - there we can pivot if your plans change or life throws some curveballs.
